I don't Agree with that logic, it doesn't work across the board, some classes it will vary.
The second sword, being a 3 vamp with +1 sword? if you were looking for damage a Elemental with +1 sword would be optimal if you were a W/E with Conjure and +damage while enchanted.
Why would you even bother with an Elemental blade with a health pommel if you are anything but a W/E? If not for the extra damage of conjure, there really isn't much of a point in PvP as everyone has the same resists... and against rangers you'd do less damage do to the +30al vs physical...
I was under the impression that all attacks had 3 properties to them:
Like a normal sword would be:
Physical / Basic / Melee
A firey bow would be:
Physical / Fire / Ranged
Flare would be
Magic / Fire / Ranged (since certain spells can deflect it)
If this is true Even elemental blades were still phyiscal, just of a diffrent type, ie - if the armor had +vs earth magic , then an ebon blade would do normal damage...
I don't think the number of weapons can be cut and dry as saying, oh you need 3 with blah blah, or oh you need 2 but 1 has to blah.. , I think it is really class by class basis.
